Our ultimate goal is to ensure our passengers can get where they need to go in a timely and efficient manner.”

Schedule updates will occur on 23 routes: 101, 104, 106, 108, 110, 113, 115, 117, 119, 120, 121, 201, 203, 208, 210, 212, 214, 218, 219, 401, BHX, CX, & DVX. Routing changes will occur on four routes: 113 (N. Las Vegas. Blvd.), 212 (Sunset), 401 (N. Outlets/Symphony Park), and DVX (Downtown & Veterans Medical Center Express).

This service change also includes the launch of a new feature in the rideRTC app called Tap & GO, which allows customers to pay for single-ride fares directly in the app. Tap & GO provides greater flexibility and options for passengers, and it eliminates paper passes and the need for exact change. This feature is ideal for the individual who may be unsure of their travel plans and would prefer to pay for a single trip. Tap & GO is currently available on the rideRTC app, which can be downloaded in the App Store or Google Play. Find more at rtcsnv.com/rideRTC.

July 1 is also the start of the RTC’s contract with a new contractor, Transdev, for its 39 transit routes. Transdev is a global company that operates public transportation in 17 countries.

As the RTC continues to improve service, passengers can get the most accurate information on bus arrival times by downloading the rideRTC app, texting “RideRTC” and the bus stop number to 41411, or by calling 702-228-RIDE.

Full details on the service change, including all updated schedules, can also be found at rtcsnv.com/servicechange.

Click to Tweet: .@RTCSNV is implementing transit service improvements to schedules and routes, as well as a single-ride fare in the rideRTC app. Visit rtcsnv.com/servicechange for details.
