Details at rtcsnv.com\/ClubRide!<\/em><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>LAS VEGAS<\/strong> \u2013 As Earth Month comes to an end, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtcsnv.com\/\">Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada<\/a> (RTC) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.howardhughes.com\/regions\/nevada\/\">The Howard Hughes Corporation<\/a> are challenging Southern Nevadans to rethink their commute and utilize free tools that make it easier than ever to travel to work by taking transit, carpooling, biking, walking and more.<\/p>\r\n<p>From Monday, April 24, through Sunday, May 14, commuters are encouraged to utilize one or more sustainable transportation options to get to work and report their green commutes through the <a href=\"https:\/\/rtcws.rtcsnv.com\/ClubRide35\/home\/home\">RTC Club Ride program<\/a>. Commuters who use the Club Ride app to report at least two times during the week will be entered to win a $500 gift card to Downtown Summerlin or a family four-pack of tickets to a Las Vegas Aviators Game, which includes a $100 food &amp; beverage credit at Las Vegas Ballpark, courtesy of The Howard Hughes Corporation.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u201cThe RTC values sustainable transportation solutions such as transit, cycling, walking and more to help manage both air quality and congestion,\u201d said M.J. Maynard, RTC chief executive officer. \u201cOur hope is that through this challenge, Southern Nevadans will celebrate Earth Month by choosing environmentally-friendly transportation options to travel throughout the valley.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>To enter the challenge, commuters must: <\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n\t<li>Sign up for the free Club Ride program. Those who are not already a member can sign up at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtcsnv.com\/ways-to-travel\/club-ride\/\">rtcsnv.com\/ClubRide<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Leave the car keys behind and opt-in for an eco-friendly commute option outlined through the Club Ride program.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Report at least two green commutes using the Club Ride app. Participants that log at least two commutes will be entered to win one of two prizes.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<p>The two winners will be notified on Monday, May 15.<\/p>\r\n<p>While Club Ride is a FREE employer-based program that provides resources to people who are interested in trying different modes of transportation, individuals are welcome to join as well.
