Roz\u2019s passion of teaching nutrition motivated her to start the Veggie Buck Truck in partnership with the Southern Nevada Health District. The pop-up market has been featured at the Bonneville Transit Center (BTC) to help increase access to low-cost fresh fruits and vegetables in downtown Las Vegas. Customers are able to purchase fresh produce starting at only $1 per pound.<\/p>\r\n
Her community involvement doesn\u2019t end there. Her nonprofit organization, Together We Can, offers other amazing community programs that you can be a part of, such as Blacks in Nature (BIN)<\/a>. BIN is an organization that creates accessible outdoor experiences for people of color just about anywhere that there are open skies above.<\/p>\r\n \u201cI created this group to encourage my community to TRY SOMETHING NEW.
