Did you know, traffickers rely on the transportation industry in every phase of human trafficking: for recruitment, moving and controlling victims, and for delivering victims to buyers. Unfortunately, human trafficking prevails in Nevada. The <a href=\"https:\/\/humantraffickinghotline.org\/en\/statistics\/nevada\">National Human Trafficking Hotline<\/a> reported 201 cases involving 296 victims in 2021.<\/p>\r\n<p>This year marks three years since the RTC launched the \u201cCombatting Human Trafficking\u201d campaign in partnership with FirstMed. Thanks to the funding received for this campaign, our front-line employees, transit operators and security officers received training to help identify human trafficking victims.
