National America Recycles Day was Nov. 15. This annual occasion recognizes the importance of recycling and its positive impact on the environment. The dos and don\u2019ts of recycling may be intimidating for many. Luckily, the Southern Nevada Recycling Center has simplified recycling tips<\/a> to help you get started, like providing visuals of what your recycling bin should look like:<\/p>\r\n

To celebrate, the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) hosts an annual Nevada Recycles Poster Contest where local K-12 students from across the state get to show off their artistic skills that promote recycling.<\/p>\r\n

The 2022 winners have been announced! The winning artwork from each category is displayed on board \u00a0RTC buses. Keep an eye out for them during your next trip! \u00a0<\/p>\r\n
