Freeway widening, new high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes, sound walls, and bridge paving are all included plans to improve travel time, accessibility and efficiency along I-15 South between Sloan Road and Warm Springs Road.<\/p>\r\n<p>This 24-month project is expected to begin in Summer 2023, and before construction starts, the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is looking for input and feedback from the community on the project\u2019s final design.<\/p>\r\n<p>A handful of options for public feedback are available, including:<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>A 24\/7 online virtual meeting (open now through Nov. 10) at <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ndotsr160.com\">www.dot.nv.gov\/i15SouthProject<\/a><\/p>\r\n<p><strong>In-person public meeting: <br \/>\r\n<\/strong>Wednesday, Nov. 2, 4-7 p.m. <strong><br \/>\r\n<\/strong>Hyatt Las Vegas at Silverton Village<br \/>\r\n8380 Dean Martin Dr. <br \/>\r\nLas Vegas, NV 89139<\/p>\r\n<p>Reasonable efforts will be made to assist and accommodate persons with disabilities who want to attend the meeting in person or online.
