U.S. of Yay! It\u2019s time to celebrate America\u2019s birthday on July 4 and RTC transit can help get you there. As usual, Las Vegas is planning plenty of free family fun and fireworks throughout the valley.<\/p>\r\n

If you want to stay close to home, consider visiting one of six Station Casino locations offering fireworks at 9 p.m. Visit the Station Casino blog<\/a> for locations and Independence Day specials.<\/p>\r\n

Participating locations include:* Green Valley Ranch via routes 111 and 221
\r\n* Sunset Station via routes 115, 212, and 217
\r\n* Red Rock via routes 206 and SX
\r\n* Palace Station via routes 119 and SX
\r\n* Boulder Station via routes 203, BHX, and SX
\r\n* Santa Fe Station via routes 101, 106, and 219<\/p>\r\n

Many neighborhood celebrations return this year including Henderson\u2019s annual celebration<\/a> at Heritage Park. The free event offers live entertainment and family fun followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. Route 217 will get you to all the festivities. Take route 221 to check out the 74th<\/sup> annual Boulder City Damboree<\/a> offering a full day of fun including a parade at 9 a.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m. Route 210 will take you to Summerlin where you can enjoy the annual Summerlin Patriotic Parade<\/a> beginning at 9 a.m.<\/p>\r\n

If you\u2019re ready to hit the town, there\u2019s plenty of patriotic festivities downtown. Fremont Street Experience<\/a> will kick off the evening at 6 p.m. with a free concert featuring legendary rockers Molly Hatchet. The Plaza Hotel & Casino<\/a>, located at the end of the Fremont Street Experience, will cap off the evening with their annual fireworks at 9 p.m. Numerous transit routes will get you downtown including the Deuce, CX, BHX, DVX, 113, and 215.<\/p>\r\n
