Cowabunga Bay \u2013 <\/strong>accessible via Route 212 (Sunset)<\/em><\/p>\r\n

Cowabunga Canyon \u2013 <\/strong>accessible via<\/em> Route 120 (Fort Apache\/Rampart)<\/em><\/p>\r\n

Las Vegas\u2019 #1 waterpark Cowabunga Bay has been keeping locals cool since 2014. Spanning 23 acres, the water park features more than 25 water slides and attractions, including a wave pool, an endless river, kids\u2019 play area, splash pools, and several other unique water slides.<\/p>\r\n

Cowabunga Canyon, formerly Wet \u2018n Wild, opened this past Memorial Day weekend, and it\u2019s another a perfect place to visit this weekend as we expect to see triple-digit temperatures. The updated water park features a 60-foot freefall on Canyon Cliffs. Can you think of a more exciting way to beat the heat?<\/p>\r\n

Craig Ranch Regional Park \u2013 <\/strong>accessible via Route 219 (Craig)<\/em><\/p>\r\n

Since 2013, the 170-acre Craig Ranch Park has been a community hotspot in the North Las Vegas area. This park features multiple playgrounds centered around a pond, along with three dog parks, picnic areas, several sporting areas, an amphitheater for concerts and events, and a 65,000-square-foot skate park.<\/p>\r\n

Mountain\u2019s Edge Regional Park <\/strong>\u2013 accessible with RTC-OnDemand service<\/em><\/p>\r\n

One of the top-rated parks in the southwest valley, Mountain\u2019s Edge Regional Park offers various amenities such as lacrosse, soccer, handball, and other sporting areas. Spend a day with family eating lunch at the picnic area, or utilize the fitness area, and multiple playgrounds for both toddlers and older children. For those up for a brisk hike, Mountain\u2019s Edge is most popular for its beautiful desert mountain views you can enjoy on a 2.3-mile loop trail.<\/p>\r\n

Sunset Park <\/strong>\u2013 accessible via Route 212 (Sunset), Route 110 (Eastern) and Route 217 (Warm Springs\/Downtown Henderson)<\/em><\/p>\r\n

Sunset Park is the crown jewel of Clark County\u2019s park system and has been since 1967. The largest park in the region, Sunset Park offers a vast array of amenities for the whole family including a fishing pond, softball fields, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, a 27-hole disc-golf court, 31 picnic areas, and a dog park!<\/p>\r\n

Springs Preserve \u2013 <\/strong>accessible via Route 104 (Valley View) and Route 207 (Alta\/Stewart)<\/em><\/p>\r\n

Las Vegas Springs Preserve, owned and operated by the Las Vegas Valley Water District, consists of 180 acres of attractions. Featuring vibrant botanical gardens, wetland habitats, traveling exhibits, trails, galleries, the Springs Preserve is also home to the Nevada State Museum.<\/p>\r\n
