Maynard joins the following individuals on the WTS International Board of Directors:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Chair: Jannet Walker-Ford, WSP<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Immediate Past Chair: Paula Hammond, WSP<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Vice Chair: Bridgette Beato, Lumenor Consulting<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Treasurer: Alexa Gangemi, HNTB<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Secretary: Leanne Redden, Regional Transportation Authority of Chicago<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Debra Johnson, Regional Transportation District of Denver<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Erin Slayton, HDR<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Helen McSwain, Rohadfox Construction Control Services<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Inez Evans, IndyGo<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Karen Philbrick, PhD, Mineta Transportation Institute<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Katharine Kelleman, Port Authority of Allegheny County<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Monica Tibbits-Nutt, 128 Business Council<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>As CEO of the RTC since 2019, Maynard leads the only agency nationwide that is responsible for a region\u2019s public transit system, traffic management, roadway and construction funding, and transportation and overall planning efforts \u2013 all under one roof.<\/p>\r\n<p>Maynard joined the RTC in February 2007 and served as Assistant General Manager of Transit and Administrative Services and later as Deputy Chief Executive Officer prior to leading the agency. During her 14-year history with agency, she has launched several groundbreaking initiatives including on-demand mobility options; the rideRTC smartphone app; and a massive transit safety expansion project encompassing the replacement of more than 3,000 bus shelters and amenities.<\/p>\r\n<p>Maynard worked in Las Vegas\u2019 hospitality industry for more than 25 years prior to joining the RTC, where she served as Vice President for Hard Rock Hotel and Casino for more than a decade. In this role, she oversaw a culturally diverse staff of more than 750 employees and was responsible for managing a multi-million dollar annual budget that included capital expansion projects.<\/p>\r\n<p>Considered a national leader in public transit management, Maynard was recently appointed to serve on the American Public Transportation Association\u2019s (APTA) 25-member executive committee; has served on its Board of Directors since 2018; and is a member of its CEO Coordinating Council.
