Approximately 9,000 customers visit the BTC each weekday, making it an ideal location to provide a variety of social services to transit riders and the nearby community.

The BTC is located adjacent to both an area of persistent poverty and one of the more densely populated food deserts in the region, making it an ideal location to offer programing that expands access to critical resources and services.

In August 2020, the RTC Board adopted the “Southern Nevada Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan,” which suggested co-locating services at transportation hubs.
