The series features the RTC, partner agencies, and our contractors who are working to improve mobility and enhance safety as we continue to fund roadway maintenance and improvement projects.<\/p>\r\n<p>This week, <em>On the Road <\/em>will be visiting the City of North Las Vegas, which recently invested $1.75 million in a significant arterial roadway project.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>\u201cAs one of the heaviest traveled roadways in North Las Vegas, the Decatur Boulevard connector, from Cheyenne Avenue to Rancho Drive and Decatur Boulevard from Lone Mountain to Ann Road, was in dire need of a quick asphalt surface repair,\u201d said North Las Vegas Director of Public Works Dale Daffern. \u201cBy working with the\u00a0RTC\u00a0to expedite design and construction, we were able to reduce taxpayer cost and stay ahead of schedule, causing minimal impact to drivers.
