Bundle up and\u00a0<\/em><em>plan your travels accordingly.\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:.@RTCSNV\"><u>@RTCSNV<\/u><\/a>\u00a0advises of possible minor delays that can be common during traffic disruptions due to weather.<\/em>\u00a0<em>#RTCSNV<\/em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>LAS VEGAS \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) wants to make sure everyone stays safe on the road during the expected cold temperatures tonight and tomorrow.\u00a0Transit customers should prepare for delays that can be common during traffic disruptions due to weather.<\/p>\n<p>Members of Southern Nevada\u2019s traffic management center will be closely monitoring traffic conditions and adjusting traffic signals as necessary to keep traffic flowing.\u00a0Crews will also be updating the dynamic message signs (DMS) on the freeways and sending out traffic alerts to inform the public about any changes.<\/p>\n<p>The RTC urges drivers to follow\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RTCSNV\">@RTCSNV<\/a>\u00a0on Twitter or subscribe to traffic alerts via email or text at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtcsnv.com\/planning-engineering\/freeway-arterial-system-of-transportation-fast\/freeway-traffic-alerts\/\">rtcsnv.com<\/a>\u00a0to stay current with the latest traffic situations.\u00a0Travelers also are encouraged to download\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.waze.com\/\">Waze<\/a>, a free traffic navigation smartphone app, to get real-time traffic and road information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the RTC<br \/>\n<\/strong>The RTC is the transit authority, transportation planning organization, regional traffic management agency and administrator of Southern Nevada Strong, the regional planning effort for the Las Vegas valley.
