Our wish is close to becoming a reality \u2013 but to achieve it, we must all take our COVID-19 shot to help end the pandemic.<\/p>\r\n<p>While there has been progress in getting more Black and African Americans vaccinated, it is not enough &#8211; vaccinations within our community continue to lag. \u00a0There are many reasons for this but one fact remains: Knowledge is power. We launched the \u201cBack to Life\u201d campaign to separate fact from fiction, to keep you informed, connect those who need access to vaccination sites, and stress the importance of being fully vaccinated to protect the health of ourselves, family members and the community. Follow @BacktoLifeSNV on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, use the hashtag #BacktoLifeSNV, or visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clarkcountynv.gov\/backtolife\">www.clarkcountynv.gov\/backtolife<\/a> for downloadable materials, upcoming events and vaccination sites. \u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>Don\u2019t wait \u2013 the sooner we take our shot, the quicker we can get back to normal. All residents 16 years of age and older are now eligible to receive vaccinations. You can even make it a family affair \u2013 schedule your family members\u2019 appointments on the same date and time. You can book appointments online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.SNHD.info\/COVID\">www.SNHD.info\/COVID<\/a>. If you have questions about the vaccine or need help scheduling an appointment, call 1-800- 401-0946.<\/p>\r\n<p>Remember, that it\u2019s okay to take whichever vaccine is available to you. All are approved for use in the United States and are free, safe, and highly effective at preventing COVID-19.\u00a0 If you have mobility issues and need help getting to your vaccination appointment, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada can help.
