As many Americans are grieving the loss of family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to COVID-19, the Regional Transportation of Southern Nevada (RTC)<\/a> is joining communities across the country for a National Moment of Unity. President-elect Joe Biden\u2019s Presidential Inauguration Committee is encouraging participation by lighting up buildings and ringing church bells at 2:30 p.m. PST, 5:30 p.m. EST Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021.<\/p>\r\n

The RTC will participate in this national moment of remembrance, unity and pause for a one-minute bell ringing at its Bonneville Transit Center, 101 E. Bonneville Ave, at 2:30 p.m. Staff, contractors, customers, and media partners are invited to join in the event. Masks and social distancing will be required.<\/p>\r\n

The event will also be broadcast live on YouTube<\/a> for those who would like to observe, but are not able to participate in person.<\/p>\r\n
