Listen up travelers! You can help provide input on how we invest in infrastructure over the next 30-years. Through a brief survey, you can let us know which transportation projects are the most important to you, and you\u2019ll be entered to win a $100 gift card during our weekly drawings through Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020.<\/p>\r\n

After hearing from our community and partner agencies, our planning department put together a draft Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), titled Access 2050. The draft RTP includes over 200 projects designed to implement strategies focused on improving safety, congestion management, enhancing alternate modes of transportation, maintaining infrastructure, and promoting economic development between now and 2050.<\/p>\r\n

We have developed an interactive map<\/a> so you can check out and weigh in on projects in your neighborhood. Just complete a short survey! Don\u2019t forget to provide an email<\/a> to enter our weekly gift card drawings.<\/p>\r\n

The RTP is updated every four years and the projects identified in the plan also include two other important documents: a Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP), which outlines near-term priorities for 2021-2025; and a Transit Program of Projects also for 2021-2025. These documents enable projects to become eligible to receive federal funding.<\/p>\r\n
