\r\nNotice of Comment Period for 2021-2050 Regional Transportation Plan Adoption<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is seeking public comment on the adoption of a new 2021 – 2050 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) and 2021 – 2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The projects identified in the RTP also comprise the contents of the Transit Program of Projects.<\/p>\r\n

The draft RTP is a 30-year outlook that includes strategies and projects designed to improve safety, manage congestion, promote alternate modes of transportation, maintain the transportation system, and promote economic development between 2021 through 2050. The RTC is also required by federal regulations to update the RTP every four years, which highlights near-term transportation projects. The new RTP does not impact air quality, and it maintains existing goals and strategies.

\r\nThe public is invited to provide feedback on the future transportation strategies and projects during a 30-day public comment period from Monday, October 26, 2020 to Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
\r\n
\r\nSubmit your comments in an online survey available at rtcsnv.com<\/a> for a chance to win one of four weekly gift card drawings. Staff will also be available in person to provide information and receive comments at the following public meetings:<\/p>\r\n
