You may have seen green arrows, yellow X\u2019s, red X\u2019s or most often, nothing at all. What does it all mean to you?<\/p>\r\n<p>The Project Neon Active Traffic Management (ATM) system provides the Southern Nevada Traffic Management Center (TMC) with the ability to manage traffic congestion based on current and predicted conditions. Like the Southern Nevada TMC, the ATM system is a joint collaboration among the RTC, the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) and Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP).<\/p>\r\n<p>A total of 42 signs display real-time information to motorists about incidents and lane restrictions ahead, allowing enough advance warning for vehicles to prepare, easing potential congestion and incidents. How does that affect your commute?
