These changes help to meet increasing transit demand without raising costs. Specifically, these changes are:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-3849 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rtcsnv.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/11\/Dec-Service-Change-Map-1.jpg\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/www.rtcsnv.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/11\/Dec-Service-Change-Map-1.jpg\" alt=\"Dec Service Change Map\" width=\"393\" height=\"441\" srcset=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27393%27%20height%3D%27441%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20393%20441%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27393%27%20height%3D%27441%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/rtc.staging.snvhost.net\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/11\/Dec-Service-Change-Map-1-200x225.jpg 200w, https:\/\/rtc.staging.snvhost.net\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/11\/Dec-Service-Change-Map-1-267x300.jpg 267w, https:\/\/rtc.staging.snvhost.net\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/11\/Dec-Service-Change-Map-1-400x450.jpg 400w, https:\/\/rtc.staging.snvhost.net\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/11\/Dec-Service-Change-Map-1-600x675.jpg 600w, https:\/\/rtc.staging.snvhost.net\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/11\/Dec-Service-Change-Map-1.jpg 612w\" data-sizes=\"auto\" data-orig-sizes=\"(max-width: 393px) 100vw, 393px\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/assets.rtcsnv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/13113919\/217.pdf\">Route 217 (Warm Spring \/ Lake Mead Parkway)<\/a> will now have more convenient two-way service with a condensed loop east of Boulder Highway, providing more direct service for transit riders in the area.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.rtcsnv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/04165057\/bhx.pdf\">Boulder Highway Express (BHX)<\/a> will branch into the BHX\u2011A and BHX\u2011B south of Lake Mead Parkway to improve service to both CSN and NSC campuses. The current BHX will become BHX\u2011A. The new BHX\u2011B will remain on Boulder Highway and continue to Nevada State Drive, ending at NSC.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.rtcsnv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/04165106\/hdx.pdf\">Henderson &amp; Downtown Express (HDX)<\/a> will now take Water Street to Pacific Avenue and Horizon Drive (replacing Route 217) and will also serve the CSN Henderson campus.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>In addition, frequency along <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.rtcsnv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/07\/30154535\/215.pdf\">Route 215 (Bonanza)<\/a> that serves areas in and near downtown Las Vegas will increase to every 20 minutes during weekday daytime hours (currently every 30 minutes), which will make service more convenient for customers. It marks the sixteenth RTC route to operate every 20 minutes or better during weekday daytime hours.<\/p>\r\n<p>In total, there will be schedule changes on 27 routes, ranging from very minor to a complete scheduling overhaul to improve service and efficiency.
