To ride, service members simply need to present the bus driver with their military or veterans identification card from any state when boarding.<\/p>\r\n<p>All routes will operate regular weekday schedules on Veteran\u2019s Day.<\/p>\r\n<p>In addition to free rides on Veterans Day, the RTC offers several year-round services for local veterans and military service members:<\/p>\r\n<p>Veterans Reduced Fare Program:<\/p>\r\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rtcsnv.com\/transit\/fare-information\/veterans-reduced-fare-program\/\">Veterans Reduced Fare Program<\/a> provides a 50-percent discount on full-fare pricing for all RTC fixed-route buses, improving access to public transportation valley wide. To participate in the program, local veterans must apply for an RTC-issued veterans\u2019 reduced fare ID card at the RTC Bonneville Transit Center, 101 E. Bonneville Ave., in downtown Las Vegas. Customers can purchase reduced-fare passes several ways, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtcsnv.com\/ways-to-travel\/how-to-ride\/ridertc-app\/\">rideRTC app<\/a> available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.<\/p>\r\n<p>Transportation to Medical Care:<\/p>\r\n<p>The RTC offers various options for veterans and military service members to travel to hospitals and Veterans Administration (VA) clinics.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>The Downtown and Veterans Medical Center Express (<a href=\"https:\/\/assets.rtcsnv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/04165102\/dvx.pdf\">DVX<\/a>) takes passengers from the RTC\u2019s downtown Bonneville Transit Center to the front door of the Veterans Medical Center in North Las Vegas.<\/li>\r\n\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/assets.rtcsnv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/04154840\/113.pdf\">Route 113<\/a> \u2013 Las Vegas Boulevard North ends at O\u2019Callaghan Federal Medical Center across from Nellis Air Force Base.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>All VA Primary Care Clinics can be accessed from a number of routes, including at Rancho and Alexander (Routes <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.rtcsnv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/04154328\/102.pdf\">102<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.rtcsnv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/04154337\/106.pdf\">106<\/a>); Charleston and Lamb (Routes <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.rtcsnv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/04155448\/206.pdf\">206<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.rtcsnv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/04155445\/203.pdf\">203<\/a>); Warm Springs and Buffalo (Route <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.rtcsnv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/04155501\/212.pdf\">212)<\/a>; and Boulder Highway between College Drive and Racetrack (<a href=\"https:\/\/assets.rtcsnv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/04165057\/bhx.pdf\">Boulder Highway Express<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.rtcsnv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/04165106\/hdx.pdf\">Henderson &amp; Downtown Express<\/a>).<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Veterans Medical Transportation Network:<\/p>\r\n<p>In addition to fixed-route service, the RTC provides effective and efficient transportation to veterans in Southern Nevada through the Veterans Medical Transportation Network for Senior &amp; Disabled Veterans (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtcsnv.com\/ways-to-travel\/transit-services\/services-for-veterans\/vmtn-online-trip-request\/\">VMTN<\/a>) program. The door-to-door, appointment-only service provides veterans with transportation to VA clinics, primary care physicians and the Veterans Medical Center.
