Downtown Las Vegas<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the city\u2019s biggest and brightest holiday traditions in Downtown Las Vegas is the annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Fremont Street Experience<\/a> on December 5 at 5 p.m. More than 49 million energy-efficient LED lights bring this magical tree to life! Get there via RTC transit routes 113 (Las Vegas Blvd.), 207 (Alta\/Stewart), 215 (Bonanza), CX (Centennial Express), BHX (Boulder Highway Express), or the Deuce.<\/p>\n

Las Vegas Strip<\/strong><\/p>\n

While nearly every Strip resort is decked out in seasonal splendor, one is a real standout, especially during the holidays! Stop by the Bellagio Conservatory\u2019s<\/a> 14,000-square-foot colossal holiday display, which typically features thousands of lights, thousands of poinsettias, and themed each year with a spectacular d\u00e9cor that is sure to get you feeling the holiday spirit. Take RTC transit route 202 (Flamingo) or the Deuce to get there.<\/p>\n

Downtown Summerlin<\/strong><\/p>\n

At Downtown Summerlin, the annual holiday parade<\/a> is a free and magical event, complete with lively holiday music, dancers, floats, Santa.\u00a0 And yes, it even snows! The parade runs along Park Centre Drive every Friday and Saturday night in December through December 16, starting at 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

On Dec. 13 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Dining Arroyo at Downtown Summerlin, join Jewish Nevada in celebration of Hanukkah<\/a>! Enjoy a festive family-friendly event featuring a menorah lighting, kids\u2019 activities, entertainment and more! Get to Downtown Summerlin via RTC transit routes 206 (Charleston) or the SX (Sahara Express).<\/p>\n

Henderson<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Botanical Cactus Garden at Ethel M Chocolates<\/a> in Henderson has become an annual tradition for many families drawn to the magic of this spectacular display. Every square inch of the three-acre Cactus Garden is covered in more than half a million lights and holiday d\u00e9cor like animated reindeer. After, enjoy Ethel M\u2019s famous hot chocolate. This year, the Garden is asking visitors for a $2 per person donation to benefit Three Square food bank and HELP of Southern Nevada.\u00a0 Accessible via RTC transit route 212 (Sunset).<\/p>\n

At locals\u2019 favorite, Sam\u2019s Town, the annual Mystic Falls Park has transformed into a Winter Wonderland<\/a>, offering holiday d\u00e9cor, a laser light show and yes, SNOW! Plus, Santa stops by at select times every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to welcome kids of all ages.
