The Southern Nevada Bicycle Coalition (SNVBC)<\/a> is excited to announce that we will be launching a new education campaign during the month of October called, Let’s Get There Together (LGTT). LGTT is a call-to-action for all road users to avoid collisions so that Southern Nevada can achieve zero fatalities. The campaign’s forward-looking vision challenges people to take specific actions and to be more considerate of other road users. The campaign uses artwork in the form of a new mural in downtown Las Vegas (DTLV) and education outreach to communicate our message. The campaign’s mural will be created by Shan Michael Evans a DTLV-based artist and muralist. The mural leans towards art deco\/ moderne style that is vibrant, and MIND-BLOWING! The mural will be completed in early October and will be on the side of a building on California and Main Street.<\/p>\n

In addition to the mural, we will gather the community for a family-friendly community bike ride called Bike2Art for a 6 mile cruise at iconic art installations including the new LGTT mural on Oct. 22- more to come on that!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Come join us as we talk about bike safety and for the unveiling of our newest mural in downtown. The festivities will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 100 E. California Avenue.<\/p>\n
