Prepare for #LaborDayWeekend by planning ahead for heavy traffic in and out of Las Vegas. @RTCSNV buses will follow a Sunday schedule on 9\/4<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>LAS VEGAS (Aug. 28, 2023) \u2013 <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/us-east-2.protection.sophos.com?d=rtcsnv.com&amp;u=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cucnRjc252LmNvbS8=&amp;i=NjAwYzliYTA2MTJkMWQyZGQ1MmE1NDgx&amp;t=cWt4K0JOYVJoN1ZSSDFVa3VrYnUzMVdmRFFFRTVtUFhKWHUrVFZUMXlJbz0=&amp;h=50c0e268acdf4efca13e4c72e78153b9\">The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC)<\/a> urges commuters to plan ahead for heavy traffic and delays throughout Labor Day weekend. Additionally, transit riders should note RTC buses will operate on a Sunday schedule on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4.<\/p>\r\n<p>Travelers are advised to plan for potential heavy traffic on I-15 southbound at the state line between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4. To plan ahead, travelers can visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seeingorangenv.com\/weekly-traffic-alerts\/\">SeeingOrangeNV.com<\/a> or subscribe to the <a href=\"https:\/\/mailchi.mp\/rtcsnv\/rtc-blog\">RTC blog<\/a> for comprehensive weekly traffic and transit impacts for the coming week. Motorists can sign up for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtcsnv.com\/traffic-cams\/traffic-alerts\/\">traffic alerts<\/a> on the RTC website to access the most up-to-date traffic information.<\/p>\r\n<p>The RTC offers 39 transit routes to connect riders to destinations throughout the community, and customers can plan trips and purchase passes through the RTC\u2019s free <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtcsnv.com\/ways-to-travel\/how-to-ride\/ridertc-app\/\">rideRTC app<\/a>.
