Click to Tweet: .@RTCSNV launches 2023 Household Travel Survey. Help shape the future of transportation, participants receive up to $40!
LAS VEGAS, NV — Southern Nevada residents have the chance to help shape the future of transportation in Southern Nevada, and earn a little cash while doing it. The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is launching its 2023 Household Travel Survey to gather input on roadways, public transit, walking and cycling throughout the valley. As an incentive, those who complete the survey will receive gift certificates valued up to $40.
“This survey is a valuable community transportation tool that will give us feedback about the places people travel, the ways they get there, the challenges they may experience, and much more,” said M.J. Maynard, CEO of the RTC. “Our residents and families matter, and their input will help us plan and fund future transportation projects that reflect common travel patterns and make getting around easier.”
Over the next few months, the RTC hopes to recruit nearly 6,000 random households throughout the valley to participate. Those chosen will receive a mailed invitation letter with an access code and details on how to participate in the survey.
The results of this survey will be used to map the travel patterns of our area, providing a better understanding of how, when, and where people travel. All information collected is confidential, and individual responses will not be released.
Those who don’t receive an official invitation but are interested in participating can visit www.SouthernNevadaTravelSurvey.com to sign up and learn more about the survey.
