Largest annual Spring Job Fair returns to Las Vegas Convention Center on March 8
More than 120 employers are ready to meet face-to-face with thousands of job seekers striving for more in 2024 during Southern Nevada’s largest annual Spring Job Fair on Friday, March 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall.
Job seekers can pre-register for the Spring Job Fair at https://tinyurl.com/SpringJobFair2024, view participating employers, and receive important event updates. This year, job seekers can also upload their resume to the new registration site for employers to preview.
Clark County Commission Chairman and RTC Board Member Tick Segerblom and Commissioner Jim Gibson are once again hosting the popular free job fair in partnership with the EmployNV Business Hub. Historically, hundreds of attendees were hired on-the-spot, with hundreds of additional job offers extended pending background checks and other employment requirements.
“We know connecting employers to great hires helps keep our Southern Nevada economy strong,” said Clark County Commission Chairman Tick Segerblom. “The Spring Job Fair has a proven track record of helping businesses big and small find the workers they need while helping members of our community discover new opportunities.”
“The Spring Job Fair is a one-stop shop for anyone looking to re-enter the workforce or earn a better wage,” said Clark County Commissioner Jim Gibson. “Attendees should treat this event like an interview with multiple employers because it is. Every employer is hiring.”
Based on last year’s success, this year’s Spring Job Fair will once again offer free childcare during the event for potty-trained children ages 3 to 6. Space is limited for this free resource, so advanced registration is highly recommended. The childcare registration link can also be found on the main Spring Job Fair registration page.
Job seekers will also have access to a pop-up EmployNV Career Hub during the event, where they can access computers and printers. Career coaches will also be on hand for last-minute resume reviews, career exploration using virtual reality headsets, and to help job seekers learn about no-cost online courses to earn professional certifications for in-demand careers. Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple paper resumes to the event as there may be a wait for help at the pop-up.
Parking for the Spring Job Fair is free in adjacent lots. Job seekers should enter the job fair through the West Hall entrance toward the south side of the building.
Spring Job Fair attendees can email EmployNVBizHub@detr.nv.gov with questions.
