Have you ever heard the term “it takes a village?” Through the RiSE program, the RTC has been intentional in building its village of trade and resource community partners that will help small and diverse businesses not only recover, but take their businesses to the next level, and compete for contracting opportunities.
The Nevada Contractors Association (NCA) is one of several community partners who has been engaged with the RTC’s local small business inclusion efforts since the beginning of Fuel Revenue Indexing (FRI), and they are with us for the long haul!
Sean Stewart, NCA CEO, expressed the association’s commitment to the RiSE program and its inclusion goals, saying “It’s really important to us, as an association, to have our diversity goals tied to the local community.” He added, “while all contractors are important, our focus is on our local workforce.”
