U.S. Marines Corps veteran Steven Dickerson dedicated his life to protecting our country and after a training injury left him legally blind, he lost his ability to drive. He now also uses a wheelchair due to additional medical complications. However, this does not stop him from traveling independently. He is a RTC paratransit certified customer but often prefers to ride our traditional bus service. We tagged along for one of his trips to the VA Hospital where we also learned other tools he uses to get around and plan his trips.
