LAS VEGAS – The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) reminds riders that it will operate its transit system on a Sunday schedule for Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7. Plan trips accordingly, purchase bus passes and take advantage of touchless mobile payment and boarding by using the free rideRTC app.

The RTC is still implementing numerous precautions from its 14-Point Safety Plan, including disinfecting vehicles nightly, requiring face coverings and more. Additionally, the RTC has begun installing more protection for drivers and passengers. The RTC is one of the few transit agencies that already had operator enclosures in place before the health crisis, but due to the pandemic, the agency installed extensions to the enclosures to provide even more protection from germs.
